FUNCTION BEFORE FORM

Meet the insect along its path.

A supported mesh enclosure with a defined collection opening and a removable sampling chamber.

Mesh aperture, entry and collector geometry depend on the intended species and whether insects are attracted or intercepted.

A compatible lure, bait or other stimulus is a separate part of the specification. Capture records do not, by themselves, demonstrate crop protection or population suppression.

Dimensions & capacity
Agreed in the product drawing and quotation; no released dimensions or capacity are claimed for this design brief.
Materials & finish
Grade, colour, UV/weather resistance and chemical compatibility to be specified for the installation.

01 · CONFIGURE

Make it fit your work.

  • Mesh aperture and enclosure size
  • Frame, suspension or floating support
  • Removable collection chamber
  • Lure holder only where attraction is intended

Float, mesh/enclosure and retrieval; prevent unintended breeding/escape.

02 · EVALUATE

Agree the evidence.

  • Escape, seam strength and weather stability
  • Sampling bias from enclosure geometry
  • Safe retrieval and specimen integrity

Ask for a sample evaluation plan. No certification, electrical rating, outdoor lifetime or count accuracy is implied by this listing.

03 · SERVICE

Keep the catch meaningful.

Check seams, frame tension, entry and collector. Replace damaged mesh before sampling.

Specify replacement parts, disposal, handling instructions and recording method with the trap.
